To properly identify the version number of your software, such as 7.3, or 4.1, follow these steps:

- Go to the Entry Page of your Blackboard server.
Example: http://webct.myschool.edu/webct/entryPageIns.dowebct
- Click Check Browser. The Browser Check screen appears. In later versions, your version of Blackboard displays at the top of the Browser Check screen.

- After logging in, within multiple pages, such as the Announcements page, at the bottom of the page is copyright information.
- Click the icon Blackboard Academic Suite. A pop-up window displays with the version information.
