Course Description

This course is an American Institutions course entitled American Civilization. It is designed to be a broad survey of the history of the United States from Pre-Columbian America to nearly the present. It focuses on the broad range of events, ideas, issues, and diverse peoples that have played a role in the more than 500 years of history. The course also engages students in the analysis and interpretation of historical documents.
