About the Course:
Organizational and Management Theory is a graduate level nursing course in the Pitt Online Clinical Nurse Leader program. Its focus is on organizational, leadership, and management theories and their application to health service organizations, both today and in the future. Leadership skills are developed based on organizational and systems thinking as well as relevant political and cultural perspectives. Strategies for managing change and improving quality and performance are explored to facilitate the creation of safe and effective care delivery environments.
